Perfect your aim and become a sharpshooter while enjoying the heritage of this remarkable fort.

Based in the centre of Town, Rathmullen’s Napoleonic Gun Battery overlooks Lough Swilly and Inch Island was built in 1810 during the Napoleonic Wars to help defend Ireland against a possible French Invasion.
Under recent year with the help of the Rathmullan Way Forward group the Battery has seen investment, Renovations and Repurposing while keeping the History and Heritage of the Fort intact.
Today you while at the Fort, taking aim on our target and practicing archery.
Activity lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the size of the group. We supply all the professional equipment necessary including arrows, bows and arm protection as well as guidance and supervision to ensure your safety and enjoyment throughout the event. You will be a sharp shooter in no time at all!
Dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate attire, as the terrain can be uneven and exposed.
Give yourself enough time to settle in and receive instruction before the session begins.
