Join us for our Heritage Diesel Driving Experience! You do not need to have any particular skills to participate as guidance is provided, and you are free to do as much (or as little) and you wish.
Your experience begins with tours of our workshop, engine yard and museum, followed by a safety briefing, before jumping onto the locomotive to experience a full round trip driving one of our heritage diesel locomotives, with just yourself, our driver and our secondman in the cab.
You are welcome to bring friends and family along, who can travel in the brake van whilst you drive the locomotive. 4 guests are included free of charge - please let us know how many you will be bringing with you, and for any additional guests get in touch to book them in. We're afraid that children under 12 and dogs are not able to travel in the brake van.
