The city is also located near the coast of the North Sea, Scheveningen. You will find the headquarters of several international organizations in The Hague; the embassy of many country's, including the International Court of Justice in the famous Peace Palace. The Binnenhof (inner court), dating back to 1248 and linked to the building of a palace, has been the residence of the ruling Dutch aristocracy and today houses both chambers of the Parliament. The 17th-century Mauritshuis houses Rembrandt's The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp and Vermeer's view of Delft and serves as one of Holland's most important museums.
