About Centro de Interpretación dos Muíños Industriais de Xuvia (CIMIX)

Centro de Interpretación dos Muíños Industriais de Xuvia (CIMIX) is a cultural interpretation center located in Narón, A Coruña. The center documents and explains the industrial heritage of the mills along the Xuvia river and the surrounding area.

CIMIX offers guided visits, thematic routes and hands-on workshops that explore historic milling, traditional crafts and industrial technologies. Programmed experiences include the Ruta: Entre Muíños, a scenic tour with stops at the Aceñas Mill and Xuvia Mill; practical workshops such as LLAVERO DE LA PUERTA NORTE (leather keychain), ESTAMPACION Y SERIGRAFIA (printing and screenprinting), DESCUBRIR LOS ENCAJES DE LA MADERA (wood joinery), CON LAS MANOS EN EL BARRO (ceramics) and RAKU, RITUALES DE FUEGO (Japanese raku). CIMIX also lists creative sessions including Taller: Muíño da Ilustración, Taller: Salvar a frota, ESCÉNICA & PLÁSTICA and an Escape Room titled Fariña en marcha!.
