About:

Explore Central Park, New York City's lungs! This tour begins at the General Sherman statue at the northwest corner of 59th Street and 5th Avenue. From there, we make our way north, exploring the tangle of bucolic paths that make up the park's southern reaches. We pass through the Zoo and the stunning elm-lined Mall on our way to Bethesda Terrace. We then make our way through the Ramble to Belvedere Castle, then onward to visit the site of Seneca Village, one of the most important population centers which existed prior to the park's construction. From there, we bee-line our way around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir to the North Meadow and down into the Ravine, one of the wildest and most beautiful landscapes in the park. We finish at "The Pool," a placid body of water near 103rd Street.
