The State of New Mexico requires Concealed Carry permit holders to take an initial 15-hour course. This course is set up to be covered in two back to back days. Calibers Concealed Carry Course covers gun laws, use of force, where you can and cannot carry, safe gun storage, gun maintenance, shooting fundamentals, as well as the required qualification in accordance with the Concealed Handgun Carry act of 2003.

Class Requirements For Courses That Include Time On The Shooting Range
  • Closed toe shoes are required
  • Eye and Ear protection are required (can be purchase prior to class)
  • If you are planning on using Calibers rental firearms, ammunition will need to be purchased from Calibers on the day of your class
  • Please do not wear low cut shirts
