Begin your marvellous full-day adventure with a transfer from your hotel to Freshwater Station to begin your scenic rail journey to Kuranda. This unique expedition travels through breathtaking rainforest vistas, past cane fields and waterfalls, set against a backdrop of craggy mountains and deep ravines.
KURANDA VILLAGE -
Enjoy free time (approx 2-3 hours) in the picturesque mountain village retreat of Kuranda, with its relaxed atmosphere and an assortment of refined arts and crafts produced by local artisans.
SKYRAIL RAINFOREST CABLEWAY
**Choice of either 1.45 pm - 2.45 pm The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway glides over & through the exquisite rainforest, where you will have a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes on earth. You will enjoy two stops to explore the CSIRO Interpretive Centre, the natural beauty of the Barron Falls and the boardwalks that take you into the heart of the rainforest.
You will be returned to your Cairns City accommodation at approx 3.45 pm if you have chosen 1.45pm Skyrail or
4.30pm if you have chosen 2.45pm Skyrail
