Visit a restored vineyard estate, located between the Silves, Monchique and Lagoa in the Algarve for a rural escape like no other. Founded in 1810 by the count of Silves, the estate has passed down through the family until the present day, capturing a longstanding passion for the land, food and entertaining, as well as a love of local heritage, beauty and conservation.

Working with the historic buildings, old vineyards and surrounding olive trees, the family have curated a calm and contemplative place, with love and attention poured into every detail. The estate’s vineyards are some of the oldest in the Algarve and provide the indigenous grapes which make up their award-winning wines. Around the estate there are cottages which can host guests who want to be part of their history.

Come to experience a real connection to the land, the seasons and to nature, and be invited to rest, relax and enjoy this Algarve country idyll. A long table is set daily at the estate and, this time, you are the lucky guest! Gathering under the 2,000 year-old tree overlooking old Negramole vines, inside the vintage olive press or inside the main house to share a simple but tasty 3-course menu paired with 3-4 wines. Afterwards delight in the fascinating stories of the Algarve’s landmark vineyard estate over coffee or as you stroll the property in the presence of the resident vineyard manager.

Join us in a tasting experience that explores the history of the estate, its unique terroir, and it's exciting wines, while you savour simple, hearty Algarvian fare.
