This is a great day out for lovers of fine food & wine and looking to discover the unique Mont Sainte Victoire wine region. We begin the morning discovering the old town of Aix, following in the path of Paul Cézanne. Leaving Aix-en-Provence, we head south through the national park - Mont St Victoire, a symbol of Provence that rises over 1000 meters behind the rolling landscape and vineyards close to the historic Provençal village of Puyloubier. A pause for lunch on a delightful Provençal village square under the shade of a tree next to the village fountain. After lunch we begin our wine discovery, firstly a visit to Domaine de St Ser, a small unique bio-diversity wine producer. The vineyard is at the highest point sitting against the steep backdrop of the Mountain with its intense sunshine and dry arid mediterranean climate. Afterwards a short drive to our second vineyard of the afternoon - Domaine Terre de Mistral, a family run winery that produces a varied selection of award winning reds, whites and rose wines as well as olive oil.
