Check-in is after 12pm and check out is at 11am daily.
The camping ground is in two sections. Both sections are un-powered.
The South Side is suitable for 2WD vehicles, camper trailers, small camper vans, and tents. Sites slope slightly, and some are a little uneven.
The Amenities Block has 5 suites, each with a toilet and shower. One suite is suitable for less able access. These suites are opened by a coded lock; the code will be advised at check-in. There are hot and cold water taps at the rear of the amenities with a bench under for your wash basin.
The small Laundry has a washer and dryer – these require $1 & $2 coins.
Free electric BBQs are available in the shelter by the driveway, about 30 meters from the amenities block.
Water is from tanks only and it is recommended that it is boiled before use.
Domestic pets are welcome under the owner’s control at all times. Fires are restricted to above-ground fire pit eg a chuffer. No fires are allowed on the ground. No fires on days of Total Fire Ban. Generators are permitted between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. only.
There is Telstra mobile phone coverage in Walhalla. A public telephone is available on the footpath near the Walhalla General Store.
Ensure your hiking boots are comfortable and provide good ankle support to navigate rocky trails safely.
