From collecting your ticket at our office at least 90 minutes before your tour begins to completing tours of both castles and getting back to Füssen allow 4,5 hours.


About

This combination Ticket includes a tour of both Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. Mostly you would start with Hohenschwangau Castle which is based in the village of Hohenschwangau and easy to reach on foot. After your tour inside Hohenschwangau Castle you will have enough time to walk to Neuschwanstein Castle. If you choose to take a shuttle bus or horse and carriage ride than make sure you have enough time as there can be long lines waiting for both.

Please note: There are steps up to Hohenschwangau Castle but it is relatively easy to reach. Reaching and touring inside Neuschwanstein Castle does require a medium level of fitness and is not suited for limited mobility.
