After being picked up from your Ponta Delgada hotel, you can head toward the world-famous Sete Cidades lagoon, formed by a crater. Take in panoramic views of the site from Vista do Rei viewpoint, then stop by the lagoon and buy a cup of coffee if you wish to. Drive over to the central part of the island.

Enjoy the chance to purchase lunch at Ribeira Grande, the second biggest city in São Miguel, then visit Gorreana Plantation to walk around the ancient tea fields. Move on to the striking Salto do Cabrito waterfalls and become surrounded by an inspiring natural landscape.

Up next, arrive at Caldeira Velha hot springs, where a hot waterfall connects with a pond, providing stunning scenery for a relaxing time. End your trip with a stop at Lagoa do Fogo, the highest lagoon on the island at more than 500 meters in height, then be transported back to your hotel.
