Experience the quintessential Finnish relaxation with a private lakeside sauna and Arctic bath at Apukka Resort in Rovaniemi. Warm up, cool down, and reconnect with nature in this immersive Arctic spa experience that blends tradition with tranquility.
Daily at 11:00-21.30
A private spa is nice, but a private Arctic spa is way cooler! Step into our lakeside sauna and embrace the Finnish sauna culture, which is almost sacred to the locals. Available from late summer to the depths of winter, this is the one place you’ll always feel warm! As throwing water onto the stove affects how hot it’s going to get, this experience is also suitable for kids – as an old Finnish saying goes: ‘Whosoever holds the sauna ladle has the power.’ A reinvigorating cold plunge into Lake Olkka completes the experience.
This activity does not include transportation.
The temperature of the sauna depends on the amount of water thrown onto the stove. For a milder experience, children can opt for the lower bench where it's cooler.
Feel free to enter the sauna nude or with a towel; kindly avoid wearing swimsuits in the Sauna.
