Lake & Land Tour with Discover Cayuga Lake in Ithaca

Join us for a one-of-a-kind Finger Lakes opportunity, a combined 4-hour lake & land experience from our home dock at the Allan H. Treman State Marina to the famous Taughannock Falls State Park and back.

The tour includes a one-hour long, narrated cruise to the Park. You will then disembark and have the options below to choose from, which will take 1.5-2 hours. Afterwards, you'll get back on the boat to have lunch and cruise back for another hour, with some further narration activities on board.

Our knowledgeable narrators and young interns-in-training will be on board to discuss the human and natural history of the lake and provide some hands-on activities, great for kids and adults alike!

By joining us on this cruise you will not only have an amazing lake and land based experience, you’ll also be helping the next generation of conservationists learn the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. This is one of our most valuable educational programs that supports our motto of “Tourism with a Mission”.

Options at the park include:

• a 2 mile guided hike to Taughannock Falls with a NYS Park environmental educator.
• rent a paddleboard, single or tandem kayak from our friends at Paddle-n-More at discounted prices
• simply kick back and enjoy the park itself (there is a playground and swim area)
• order lunch while on the boat in the morning and enjoy it on the cruise back! (or bring your own)

Lunch options cost $10 and include::

• A turkey or ham wrap with chips
• A veggie burger with chips

Seltzers are available for $1 on the boat and we encourage everyone to bring a reusable and full water bottle.
