You push off from Panajachel’s harbour, the boat’s hum dropping behind you as the shoreline of Lake Atitlán opens like a wide, reflective road. A public ferry slips you across to Tzununa; cobbled lanes and the scent of coffee greet you. The first pedal stroke is soft — the lake pulls at the edge of your vision and the hills prompt you forward.

The route is about 7 miles (11 km) with short hills — plan 2–3 hours at a moderate pace; basic fitness is recommended.
Tours start at our Panajachel office, include a public boat to Tzununa to begin riding, and typically return to Panajachel.
No advanced skills are needed, but riders should be comfortable on mixed dirt and paved surfaces and able to handle short climbs.
