The road climbs through coffee farms and cloud-fringed forest until the first roar announces the La Paz waterfalls. Paths cut into the slope lead you past a sequence of five named falls; water dares you to step closer as mist beads on your camera and the forest answers with hummingbirds and a chorus of frogs.
