The river cuts a bright ribbon through humid forest as your guide leads a small group toward La Leona: water chuckling over stone, vines tugging at footholds, and the waterfall itself looming behind a curtain of spray. You start with a short 4x4 ride to the trailhead at Curubande, then move into a route that asks more than a flat stroll—ropes, ladders, caves and natural pools demand balance and attention while the forest closes around you.

Transportation to Curubande is not included; the tour includes a 4x4 ride from the parking area to the trailhead once you arrive at the meeting point.
