Tour Overview

Guided group snorkeling tours at La Jolla Cove with sea lions & seals, schools of colorful fish & the huge sea caves! All snorkeling tours depart from the beach (not a boat) in the La Jolla protected marine sanctuary and explore the ocean along the stunning sea cliffs.

Rates

Adults (ages 12 yrs+ and 90 lbs+): $90

• price includes complimentary use of mask, snorkel, fins & wetsuit.

Duration

1.5 hours includes:

• 30 minutes: donning gear, instruction & ocean entry.
• 60 minutes: in the ocean.

Tours Depart From

La Jolla Cove: 1160 Coast Boulevard, La Jolla, CA 92037

• tours are from the shore into the marine sanctuary (no boat).

Parking: can take an additional 30 minutes in the mornings & an additional 60 minutes in the afternoons. Please arrive early.

Required

• Good Swimming Skills: floats & life jackets are not allowed at La Jolla Cove.
• Weight: 90 lbs & up.
• Ages: 12 & up (with parent).

Children: Ages 12 to 17 may participate only if their parent is also snorkeling.

Wetsuits: Wearing a wetsuit is required. (available 90 lbs to 295 lbs)

Physical Fitness: Tours are physically demanding. For safety, these tours are not for individuals who are pregnant, in poor health, or compromised physical condition.

We also offer both Sea Turtles & Leopard Sharks snorkel tours. These events take place in different San Diego locations. Our sea turtles & sharks snorkeling tours are booked separately and are not available this season.

Cancellation Policy

• 100% refund with cancellation 8 days or more before scheduled event.
• 100% refund with operator cancellation due to weather, safety or other unforeseen circumstances.
• No refunds, no cancellations, no rescheduling days, no time changes, no rain checks with 7 days or less before the scheduled event.
• No refunds for “no-shows”, last minute cancellations or late parties.

Late arrivals: All tours leave on time. Late arrivals are not refunded, not rescheduled, not moved to a later tour time & not given a rain check even if traffic & parking are terrible. Please arrive early.
