When the road lifts out of Córdoba’s flat plain and begins to wind into the Sierras Grandes, the air thins and the trees take over — pines and oaks leaning in as if to point the way. By mid-morning the bus climbs to a viewpoint above Los Molinos lake; the dam and its blue mirror sit below while ridgelines push the horizon.
