See the famous landmarks of Los Angeles in one day! Your expert guide will pick you up from your preferred meeting point in the Los Angeles area to begin your downtown Los Angeles exploration.
History buffs in the group will want to include an early stop at El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument, the birthplace of LA, with the oldest buildings dating back to the early 1800s! This area of historic Angelino Heights is also home to several unique film locations, including the house used in a well-known Michael Jackson music video.
We’ll of course include one of the most iconic landmarks on your all-day experience, making our way into the Hollywood Hills to visit the Griffith Observatory, with views of the city from above the famous Hollywood sign. Among other must-visit locations is Hollywood Boulevard, home to prestigious venues such as the TCL Chinese Theater, the Dolby Theater, and, right beneath your feet, the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Your knowledgeable guide will point out where to find your favorite film star and the best spot to get that perfect snap of the Hollywood sign in the background.
Once back in the vehicle, we can continue on to Sunset Strip and see famous places such as the Viper Room and Chateau Marmont. While we can stop to eat at any point during your private tour, you may want to save your appetite for the Famous Farmer’s Market, a food hall offering cuisine from all over the world.
No trip to the Greater Los Angeles area is complete without a ride through the world's most well-known zip code: 90210. In this luxury district of glamourous Beverly Hills, we can visit famous locations such as the Greystone Mansion and the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, filming location of Pretty Woman. Other highlights include The Playboy Mansion, Rodeo Drive, and the neighborhood’s immediately recognizable palm-tree lined streets.
We can also make room in our itinerary for a drive down Santa Monica Boulevard, also known as Route 66, to the Santa Monica Pier. The pier is one of southern California’s major landmarks and one of the most visited locations in Los Angeles. Farther along, we can enjoy a breezy drive to the beautiful Venice Beach, taking time to unwind and soak up the Bohemian vibes of this vibrant community. There’s never a dull moment on the boardwalk, where we can enjoy great people-watching here and at the famous Muscle Beach.
At the end of your tour, your guide will be able to suggest great places to eat, drink, and recreate, should you choose to stay in the area. Otherwise, they’ll be happy to transport you back to your hotel.
