About

The Kyles of Bute are rightly known across the world for their stunning beauty. The steep tree lined hills and narrow waterway are a haven for wildlife. The area is dotted with small islands and we will sail around one of the most famous, Eilean Dubh (Black Island) and up Loch Ruel with its gentle tidal shallows.

We pass the small car ferry that crosses between Rhubodach on Bute and Colintraive on the mainland.

Bird watchers will be able to spot eider ducks, oystercatchers and herons (If they can take their eyes off the stunning scenery).

On Thursday & Friday evenings we offer a sunset trip where slow down and take our time to enjoy the wonderful light and sunsets we get here on the Isle of Bute.

Please note that all trips are subject to having enough numbers/passengers.
