From 8:00am, I pick you up from your accommodation anywhere in Port Douglas
Our first stop is Freshwater station to take a journey aboard the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway, travel through the rainforest enjoying breathtaking scenery, waterfalls and tunnels.
On arrival in Kuranda I'll be there to meet and show you around this, 'Village in the rainforest' famous for its colourful arts and crafts markets. Wander the shops, markets, galleries, enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many cafes and great restaurants. (at your own expense) Join the Kuranda riverboat and cruise through the world’s most ancient rainforest enjoying commentary about river life. Visit the Butterfly Sanctuary, Bird World full of friendly tame birds or pop into the Koala Gardens and have your picture taken with one!!
After approx 2 hours in Kuranda it's time for a trip on the multi- award winning Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will enjoy a world heritage listed rainforest experience and take in some of the most spectacular views on earth.
We then head up the coast for a stop at Palm Cove.
Returning to Port Douglas 4.30 pm and the end of our day together.
For those guests that do not want to do the Skyrail they can ride up in the bus with me and enjoy extra time in Kuranda AND for those guests that do not want to do the Kuranda Scenic Train they can ride down the range in the bus with me.
Airport transfers and relocations to Cairns are also available - conditions apply.
