You push off into a canyon that narrows as the river gathers speed; cliffs lean inward like ancient pages, and pine-scented wind pushes at your back. The Köprüçay River dares you forward, riffing over rocks and through whitewater that suits beginners and experienced rafters alike. Later, mud sprays from quad tires as the Taurus Mountains open above the valley, a patchwork of oak scrub, exposed limestone, and coastal vista.
