Sit back in our air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and listen to intriguing stories about actual crimes and bizarre deaths that occurred in Kailua-Kona. We don’t tell made up ghost stories…. We talk about real events that occurred in Kona over the last 50 years.
Guests will hear about cold-blooded killers and their victims, learn about one of the biggest bank robberies in Hawai’i, hear about the European Counterfeiters that were captured by Kona Police Officers. You’ll see an ancient Hawaiian battlefield and hear how a feral cat helped solve a robbery. Kidnapping, arson, murder, suicides…we cover a lot of intriguing stories.
During our 2.5-hour tour, your knowledgeable guide will point out over 40 different crime scenes. You will hear incredible stories from an actual retired Kona detective with over 25 years of law enforcement experience.
Disclaimer: You will not visit any active crime scenes for obvious reasons. Our tour points out crime scenes from Kona’s history and provides information as to what occurred at those locations and how many of the crimes were solved. Due to the graphic nature of some stories, absolutely no children under the age of 14-years-old are allowed on this tour!
