The speedboat cuts through warm Andaman water and, in fifteen minutes, the horizon tightens into three low islands—Koh Khai Nok, Nai and Nui. White sand glints; a guide points to a crown of coral off a rocky shelf while the sea murmurs and small fish dart between your toes. Morning trips arrive with glassy water and cooler light; afternoon runs bask in golden warmth.
easy.
5 hours.
Suitable for anyone comfortable swimming in shallow reef areas; minimal fitness required for short walks on sand and ladder entries from the boat.
The tour runs about five hours total, including hotel transfer, a 15‑minute speedboat ride and several short snorkeling and beach stops.
Yes—basic snorkeling equipment is provided, though many travelers prefer their own fitted masks.
There are basic facilities on the pier and sometimes mobile snack options; plan to eat before or after the trip and bring water (bottled water is provided).
The tour is suitable for all fitness levels; infants must sit on laps and specialized infant seats are available—non‑swimmers should use life vests and stay in shallow beach areas.
The Khai islands have long been small fishing and stopping points for local boats; recent tourism growth has made them popular day‑trip snorkeling sites from Phuket.
Coral gardens here are shallow and vulnerable; practice no‑touch snorkeling, use reef‑safe products and follow guide instructions to minimize impact.
