The Knysna Forest is part of South Africa’s coastal Afromontane belts and bears traces of historic timber use; it was later incorporated into the Garden Route National Park to protect its unique forest habitats.
The forest faces pressures from invasive species, fire and off-trail erosion; sticking to guided routes and following leave-no-trace principles helps protect fragile understory and wildlife.
Scootours Knysna operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
