Gliding around hovering 20" above the water, looking for wildlife, and taking in the scenic views of the Chugach range, Knik River, and Knik Glacier in an amphibious vessel with an experienced captain. Owners and captains are Alaskan with backgrounds in fishery biology and geology providing expert knowledge of the areas being explored. The tour is 26 miles one way and goes to the fringe of Lake George National Preserve at the foot of the Knik Glacier. Be prepared for an epic day adventure where education is our goal!
The boat is enclosed with a heater, but a light jacket and comfortable outdoor clothing are still recommended. Call for conditions and what to wear if there are questions.
Passengers must be able to get in and out of the vessel and walk under their own power with minimal help. The vessel does not accommodate wheelchairs or individuals who cannot walk unfortunately due to the construction and engineering of the vessel. Individuals with back and neck issues consider the severity of their injuries before committing to the tour and all passengers will acknowledge a safety brief and sign disclaimer forms.
