In Australia, anyone wishing to serve food to the public needs to be registered as a food business with the local council where their food business is based. If you are not already registered as a food business with your local council, you will be required to register with the City of Vincent if you are planning to sell food to the public. Applicants will need to arrange an inspection with the City of Vincent PRIOR to sale of products to the public. This will take no more than half an hour and will be conducted at the Perth Kitchen Hire venue. Applicants will need to bring any equipment and containers used for their cooking, labels and packaging, or anything else that is relevant to their business. The City of Vincent can be contacted by phone on 9273 6000 to arrange inspection.
Hourly rentals require a minimum booking of 4 hours to ensure adequate use of the professional kitchen space.
If you intend to sell food prepared here, ensure you’re registered with your local council or the City of Vincent before use.
