Water temperatures off Scotland’s north coast can be cold year-round; a wetsuit is essential to stay warm and comfortable during surf lessons.
Arriving 10-15 minutes before the lesson begins ensures kids get a proper safety briefing and equipment fitting without rush.
Surf and weather can change rapidly; stay flexible and prepared for alternative activities like paddle boarding if waves aren’t suitable.
