You step off the ferry and the island breathes differently: a wide, sandy highway—75 Mile Beach—stretches like an open runway to the east, while tea-tree‑stained perched lakes glint inland. Wind tugs at your hat, and a 4WD coach hums as it negotiates the ever-shifting shoreline.
