Read the full experience

The sun slides low over the Atlantic and the tiki boat rocks like a small, deliberate island — palms of rigging casting quick shadows across a teak deck. Laughter mixes with the gulls as the captain eases away from the historic seaport, and the slide at the stern dares you to jump into water that pushes heat and clarity back into the skin.

Hydrate and pace alcoholSalt, sun and motion can dehydrate quickly—alternate drinks with water and eat before you board to reduce seasickness risk.

Check captain requirementsIf you plan to drive, confirm age and licensing rules; operators include a boater-safety test link for required temporary licenses.

Recommended gear
