The Party Cat slips away from 201 William St. and the harbor opens into a hard, bright wash of turquoise; gulls quarrel at the bow while laughter from the floating waterpark bubbles back across the wake. Over the next six hours the day divides into short, sharp episodes: the throttle bite of a waverunner, the slow rise of a parasail into high air, the cool headlong hush of snorkeling amid staghorn and brain coral.
