Clouds peel back as the van climbs out of Chiang Mai and the air cools — you feel the mountain drawing you higher. The Kew Mae Pan nature trail threads across Inthanon’s upper slopes, a compact 3 km loop that packs rainforest, semi‑alpine fields and cliffside viewpoints into a brisk eco-walk. Rhododendron trunks lean into the breeze and the forest seems to breathe around you, while waterfalls below dare you to pause and listen.
