Adventure tips

Arrive early from Amsterdam CentralMeeting point is a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station; arrive 15 minutes early to board the coach and secure better seats.

Layer for spring weatherDutch springs can switch between sun and drizzle—bring a lightweight rain shell and a mid-layer you can stash in a daypack.

Protect your photosBring a lens cloth and a small tripod or monopod if you want stable macro shots of flowers in breezy conditions.

Stay hydrated and mobileCarry a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes—expect several kilometers of walking across paved paths and floral terraces.

Recommended gear

Supportive walking shoes: Closed shoes with good grip keep you steady on wet paths and during long strolls through the gardens.
Light rain jacket: A compact waterproof layer protects against sudden showers common in Dutch spring weather.
Refillable water bottle: Keeps you hydrated during the coach transfer and while exploring the park.
Camera or smartphone with extra battery: Capture the blooms—batteries drain fast when shooting lots of high-res images.
