All prices are for the cost of the fishing excursion. There may also be transportation costs as well as the cost of an Alaskan fishing license. We highly recommend purchasing your license before your trip from the Alaska Game and Fish website! For fish processing, there are a couple great options. We can take it to a local processor where it will be approximately $2.50-$3.00 per pound of filleted fish plus shipping. They will box and freeze you fish then hold it until the day you choose to have it shipped overnight to your home. You may also pick up your boxes to bring them home as a checked bag if you are staying in ketchikan!
Buy your Alaska fishing license online before your trip to avoid delays and ensure you meet all legal requirements.
Alaskan weather can change rapidly on the water—bring waterproof and insulating layers for comfort all day.
Rough seas are common; having seasickness medicine on hand can keep your focus on fishing rather than discomfort.
If you plan to bring fish home, ensure proper packaging or use the local processing and shipping service offered by the charter.
