Kenosha transformed from a lakeside industrial center to a cultural waterfront; historic streetcars ran here in the early 1900s and were reintroduced in 2000 as heritage vehicles.
The harbor and park areas are managed for public access and habitat; follow leave-no-trace principles, use public transit or walk where possible, and avoid disturbing shoreline vegetation.
