About

The Kenmare Bay is thirty miles long. Twelve miles wide at its mouth and narrowing gradually as it bisects and separates the Beara and Iveragh peninsulas and their mountain ranges. The Kenmare Bay due to its shape is also known as the Kenmare River. Kenmare Bay is listed as a Special Area of Conservation on account of its rare species and habitats.

Our experienced local skipper Paddy will give full commentary on our tour. Its natural beauty is undeniable so hop on board to explore the paradise of Kenmare Bay!

Our local skipper Paddy has spent his life fishing these waters and has plenty of tales to share about his catches and days at sea. He will give comprehensive commentary of the islands and their inhabitants as we explore their rocky shoreline.
