About This Adventure

Embark on a captivating paddle from Sands Beach to Parris Island, where you’ll explore the rich history of the region, including the intriguing Port Royal Experiment. Keep an eye out for dolphins and listen for the sounds of Marine recruits, all while uncovering the Lowcountry's fascinating legends and lore.

Paddle from Sands Beach in Port Royal over to Parris Island and back. Experience the salt marsh environment and all it has to offer. And learn something about Port Royal and Parris Island, as well as some of the mysteries of the low country. And there's always a chance of seeing dolphins here!

All paddlers must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket. All participants will be required to sign a waiver release. Parents will sign for children under the age of 18.
