Get ready to enjoy some of the finest scenery in Puget Sound and a truly wonderful picnic spot! See Mt Rainier, Mt Baker and the Seattle skyline from this remote rocky island. On occasion a seal might pop up to check out your paddling skills. Frequently eagles, osprey, and harbor porpoise like to make appearances as well!
Depart Eagle Harbor or Blakely Harbor and head out to Blakely Rocks for a light picnic lunch. After lunch there is time to explore the tide pools and keep an eye out for the bald eagles and harbor porpoises cruising by at a distance. Then it’s back to the boats for a leisurely paddle back to the harbor.
