With included shuttle service and rentals, this experience promises a memorable day on the Dan River.
This is our standard trip, always available, and perfect for beginners. You must arrive at DRC 30 minutes before your scheduled shuttle time. Vans leave at the time you reserved, so you must be checked in and ready to go.
This trip begins with a 5-mile paddle through the Hammer-Stern Wilderness Preserve. The trip ends with a spectacular paddle through a 1-mile section at Hanging Rick State Park, along the Dan River Bluffs, a short distance upstream of the DRC riverside shop where you left your vehicle and boarded our shuttle van.
