About

The Sturgeon River is not a lazy river—it’s fast and thrilling! Perfect for adventurous paddlers ready to take on the challenge, our solo and tandem “Sit-On-Top” Kayaks are designed to handle the swift currents and potential tip-overs without filling with water like traditional canoes or sit-in kayaks (which can be extremely difficult/heavy to stop, catch, and empty the water out).

Note: This is NOT a lazy river—you'll need to watch where you're going, paddle, and push away from logs and sticks. This adds to the excitement for those with an adventurous spirit!
