Join our Kayak Progression course at Pinkston for an exciting three-week adventure! Perfect for beginners, you'll learn essential kayaking skills, water safety, and enjoy fun games. Experience the thrill of paddling on Scotland's stunning waters while creating unforgettable memories. Suitable for ages 7 and up—your kayaking journey starts here!
Each session is 1 hour and a half, and the course is 3 weeks in total. You will visit us at the same time each week, for 3 weeks. For example, if week 1 is on Sunday at 10am, week 2 and 3 will be on the following Sunday's at 10am.
FOR SEPTEMBER 2025 : Due to a scheduled event we are unable to offer our progression courses on the Sunday 21st of September as normal and so week 3 will now be on the 4th week of the month :

All equipment is provided! You'll just need to bring a towel, swimsuit/shorts, and old shoes you don't mind getting wet!

Old trainers or water shoes protect your feet from slippery surfaces and cold water during launching and landing.
You’ll be in the water often, so having swimwear and a towel ready will keep you comfortable before and after sessions.
Even in warmer months, Glasgow’s weather can change quickly; bring warm layers and a waterproof jacket for before and after paddling.
Pack and arrive at least 15 minutes early so you can comfortably change and get fitted with gear before hitting the water.
