The night swallows sound as you step into a tandem kayak and push away from the dock — mangrove roots lean over the channel like hands guiding you toward the lagoon. Thirty minutes of quiet paddling through narrow, dark channels brings you into Laguna Grande where the water answers every motion with liquid stars: microscopic Pyrodinium bahamense that flare to life when disturbed.

Able to paddle a two-person kayak for up to 30 minutes each way and sit steadily for about 2 hours.
Minimum age is 7 years; all participants must be able to paddle their position and follow safety instructions.

The tour does not include a food stop; restroom and staging facilities are used before the paddle but plan accordingly for the multi-hour round trip from San Juan.
