Prepare for adventure with our kayak capsize class! In just 120 minutes, you'll master essential rescue techniques, including deep water reentry and T rescues, all under the guidance of a certified instructor. Dress to get wet and gain confidence on the water while ensuring your safety and that of others.

About

In this class we will learn what to do in the event of a capsize, from both the victim and rescuer perspective. We will cover the following:

  • Swim to shore
  • Deep water solo reentry
  • Assisted deep water reentry
  • T Rescue

There is no pre required class, please dress to get wet!

Adventure Tips

Wear a Personal Flotation Device

Always wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket during the class for safety.
