Prepare for adventure with our kayak capsize class! In just 120 minutes, you'll master essential rescue techniques, including deep water reentry and T rescues, all under the guidance of a certified instructor. Dress to get wet and gain confidence on the water while ensuring your safety and that of others.

In this class we will learn what to do in the event of a capsize, from both the victim and rescuer perspective. We will cover the following:
There is no pre required class, please dress to get wet!
Always wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket during the class for safety.
Wear quick-drying clothes and bring a water bottle to stay comfortable throughout the session.
You will get wet practicing rescues, so pack dry clothes to change into afterward.
Inform your instructor about your swimming abilities or any concerns before the class starts.
