Learn vital first aid and communication protocols while getting wet in a supportive environment. Prepare yourself for any paddling challenge!

About

Our kayak rescue class is designed to help each paddler prepare and practice when things go bad. Deep water-assisted rescues, towing injured paddlers, how to handle a swamped kayak and more will be practiced. This is a hands-on, get-wet course! Please bring or rent a wetsuit and bring whatever safety gear you currently have. First aid, VHF radio protocol, and injured paddler scenarios will be taught.

Always wear a properly fitted PFD while practicing rescue techniques on the water to stay safe.
