About

Paddle around and over oysters beds with our guides through the mangrove forest into the backwaters of the lagoon for closer encounters with wildlife such as osprey, cormorants, and herons. Also see the distinctive salt marsh along the creek, sea oxeye daisy, sea purslane, saltwort, glasswort, and spartina grass.

All our 2-hour tours are guided by a Florida Naturalist. Beginners are welcome! Tandems (double) and single kayaks available.

Tours depart from the Marine Discovery Center property.

Children from 6-12 years old must be in a tandem kayak with an adult. We do not offer kayak tours for children age 5 and under.

Adventure Tips
