The Stockholm archipelago may initially seem vast and out of reach. Yet strangely familiar, like a slight whisper of another home situated a quick boat ride away. Visit Sweden tailors a two-night journey to the outer archipelago that starts at Nybroviken in downtown Stockholm.
As a guest, you’ll go by rib speed boat to Stavsnäs, where you’ll be fitted with a kayak for the coming trip to Harö Natur situated by Kanholmsfjärden. The professional kayak guides will introduce you to kayaking, according to some the best way to experience archipelago nature. In safe and stable 2-person kayaks you make your way towards the island of Harö and stop for a lunch on the way.
When you arrive at Harö you’ll set your sights on wild island vegetation as you traverse the calm waters. As the end of your trip draws near and you’ve woken up to a new morning, a few hours of exploring the island awaits until you’ll board the Waxholm Ferry back to the city center in the afternoon.
