You step off the air‑conditioned coach into a landscape that feels older than memory — broad floodplains, pandanus fringes and the low rumble of insects. The morning drive from Darwin crosses tidal country; the river channels and wetlands open like maps, and within an hour you’re scanning banks for the pale flash of a saltwater crocodile or the rise of a jabiru wing.

The tour is approximately 8 hours and departs Darwin at about 7:30 AM from outside the Travelodge/Leea Darwin; exact times are confirmed at booking.
The Jumping Croc Cruise is optional and may be included only if you selected that option (KDC‑B) at booking; check your itinerary details.
A Kakadu Park pass is included for the Kakadu entry on the standard tour, but an NT Parks Day Pass may be required for Fogg Dam options and is not always included.
Children aged 6–12 qualify for child fares; the tour is not recommended for children under 6 due to walking and wildlife safety considerations.
Kakadu contains rock art sites at Ubirr and Nourlangie that record Indigenous occupation for tens of thousands of years and remain culturally significant to Bininj/Mungguy people.
Visitor access is managed with traditional owners and Parks Australia; follow signage, stay on boardwalks and avoid feeding wildlife to reduce disturbance.
