Set sail on a full-day adventure in Maalaea Bay with Maui Custom Charters. Snorkel, whale watch, fish, or relax onboard the luxurious S/V Artemis—perfect for personalized ocean adventures in Hawaii.
Founded to offer tailored private sailing experiences, Maui Custom Charters operates from Ma'alaea Bay and specializes in private snorkeling, whale-watching, sunset, and full-day sail trips. The company offers both catamaran and monohull vessels—most notably the S/V Artemis (47' catamaran) and S/V Nova (monohull)—providing flexible options for couples, families, and larger groups. Each charter is customizable: guests can prioritize snorkeling pristine reefs, guided underwater tours, hands-on sailing lessons, fishing, or dedicated whale watching during the January–April season.
Safety and local knowledge are core strengths. Captains are experienced mariners familiar with Maui's waters, reefs, and marine wildlife regulations. Boats are equipped with snorkel gear, safety equipment, light refreshments, and deli-style lunches on longer trips. Private charters include options for complimentary beverages, light appetizers, and the ability to bring personal drinks for celebrations.
Maui Custom Charters focuses on small-group personalization, avoiding crowded tour boats and enabling access to secluded Pali cliffs and hidden coral gardens reachable only by boat. Customers receive clear pre-charter instructions, suggested packing lists, and wildlife-spotting insights to maximize each excursion.
Ideal for milestone celebrations, proposals, family outings, or whale-watching with close friends, the operator emphasizes memorable, private experiences that balance adventure with comfort. Transparent booking terms, flexible itineraries, and repeat client recommendations contribute to the company's trustworthy reputation among visitors seeking a bespoke Maui sailing experience. Advanced booking, clear cancellation policies, and locally sourced refreshments further reinforce professionalism, while on-board education about reef conservation and respectful wildlife viewing reflects a commitment to sustainable, low-impact tourism and memorable guest experiences.
