Standing on the warm sand of Ka’anapali, the catamaran's low profile waits like a shallow doorway to another world. Within minutes of boarding, crew move with practiced efficiency—fins, masks, and a brief orientation—and the shoreline slips away. The boat runs short hops to Mala Wharf and nearby West Maui reefs where a sunken pier creates ledges and swim-throughs that attract turtles, eels, and schools of colorful reef fish.

You should be comfortable swimming in open water for 30–60 minutes and able to climb a ladder from the water; moderate fitness is sufficient.
You should expect roughly one hour of snorkeling total, divided across one to three stops depending on sea conditions.
Children are permitted but infants must sit on an adult’s lap; non-swimmers are not allowed for safety reasons, and flotation devices are available if needed.
The operator does not provide prescription masks or masks that fit over eyeglasses; specialty masks can be rented nearby at The Snorkel Store.
Trips cancel for unsafe conditions; the tour offers a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance and will cancel if conditions are poor.
